STATE AND INDUSTRY OFFICIALS COMMEND ELI LILLY ON
PLANS FOR NEW FACILITY IN CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge, MA – Governor Charlie Baker, the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center and MassBio today commended Eli Lilly for their decision to expand into Massachusetts by opening a new 17,000 square foot facility in Kendall Square, Cambridge. The facility, focused on the development of improved drug delivery systems and devices, will house approximately 30 new employees.
“We welcome Eli Lilly’s expansion here in the Commonwealth, and look forward to their ongoing contributions to our thriving life sciences community,” said Governor Charlie Baker.
Eli Lilly and Company is a leading global pharmaceutical company with headquarters located in Indianapolis, Indiana and facilities in 17 countries. The company has approximately 41,000 employees worldwide, with more than 8,000 engaged in research and development.
