8/3 喜臨門旁四車碰撞 華埠治安巡邏隊馳援

紐英崙中華公所華埠治安巡邏隊八月三日反應迅速，在警察抵達前趕到林肯街，處理撞車事故，疏導交通。

            華埠治安巡邏隊自從改由中華公所財政翁宇才接管後，所有巡邏人員都是百分之百的義工，目前約有十五，六人參加巡邏，包括仇錦光等，其中有不少是資深義工，另有約五名新人。

            中華公所董事謝中之，就是其中的新人之一。

            八月三日大約中午十二點四十五分左右，必珠街（Beach）和林肯街（Lincoln）交界，靠近喜臨門大酒樓那兒傳出“碰”的一聲巨響，出車禍了。

            華埠治安巡邏隊的謝中之聞聲趕抵現場。他說這宗撞車意外，共有四輛車連環相撞。先是有兩輛車撞車了，一輛黑色寶馬撞了一輛白車的左後方，接著白車撞上停在靠喜臨門酒樓路邊，掛著羅德島車牌的廂型車，再迴轉頭來撞上停在路邊的一輛紅色車。

            黑色寶馬的車前頭撞毀了，廂型車 的後右方也損壞嚴重。

            處理車禍單位派來拖車，把紅車以外的其他三輛車都拖吊走了。

            坐在白車上說廣東話的女駕駛，因傷勢較重，在消防局人員把她從車座中移出來後，由急救車送往醫院。

            謝中之表示，中華公所主席阮鴻燦和華埠治安巡邏隊員趕到現場後，立即分頭引導交通，直到警察趕抵，才把現場交給警方負責。

            華埠治安巡邏隊隊長翁宇才表示，華埠治安巡邏隊員們雖然都是義工，卻個個熱心，其中的謝中之，最近幾乎每天都到華埠當義工。

            目前該巡邏隊，星期一固定有人，星期二，四最少人，通常由翁宇才自己和謝中之巡邏，星期三有中華公所主席阮鴻燦，一位名叫賽門的年輕人等。

            翁宇才表示，巡邏隊的工作是巡視街道，驅逐醉貓，毒友，以保護華埠的地方治安。最近該隊斥資四百四十九元，買了廿件每件十元的巡邏背心，以及六部對講機。劉小雲幫忙縫徽章，藝美印務印字樣，陳文浩幫忙下訂單，每個人都很幫忙的不收費。

            翁宇才透露，中華公所華埠治安巡邏隊賬戶內的存款，在所有巡邏義工不支薪，每兩個月聚餐一次，聊表謝意情況下，應可維持一年。如有善心人士願意捐款，該隊將考慮在冬天時為巡邏隊員添購暖鞋，買杯咖啡。他們也希望有更多人加入巡邏行列，有意者可電洽中華公所617-542-2574。

Sunday, 08/03/2014, appro.12:50 PM, "big bang noise" at the intersection of Beach and Lincoln Street, next to Hei La Mon Restaurant, 4 automobiles accident, 2 cars collided, then, the white car got hit at the left-end side by a black BMW(not in photo, stop about 40-50 feet away front the collision site), then the white car hit a parked USV(not in photo, next to the side-walk of Hei La Mon, with Rhode Island Plate), then rolled back to hit a red parked car (with minor damages). The BMW damaged at the front, the USV had bad damage at the right-rear side, except the red one, three autos had been towed away. Only the driver of the white car needed to be transported by EMT, she's a Chinese lady, speaks Cantonese was stuck on the driver seat, until the EMT arrived with assistance with equipments from Fire Department to move her out of the car-seat.

CCBA president Hung Goon 阮鴻燦(also a Peace Judge of Massachusetts) leaded the "Chinatown Crime Watch Team" responded to the scene with the Fire Dept. at the similar time, he instructed the team members to divert the traffic from Lincoln St. left turn to Beach St. to protect the accident scene until the Boston Police arrived.
