Mayor Walsh joins New England Revolution in Hosting a World Cup Viewing Party on City Hall Plaza

WHAT: Mayor Walsh will join New England Revolution in hosting a World Cup viewing party for a 1 O'Clock game featuring Argentina against Germany. The Revolution Street team, the Battalion, will be on site with give-a-ways and fun activities for fans. Slyde, their Mascot will join the NE Revolution Cheerleaders in spreading enthusiasm throughout the audience.
Mayor Walsh will also present awards to the three winning teams of the 2014 Boston Cup youth soccer tournament held at Moakley Park on June 28th,coordinated by the Office of Tourism, Sports, and Special Events, Office of Economic Development and Boston Centers for Youth and Families.
