District 2 City Council Candidate Forum on Thursday, October 3rd, 6:30-8, Boston Public Library

The Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay (NABB) has invited both candidates for Boston City Council District 2 to participate in a Candidate Forum, moderated by David Jacobs, Editor/Publisher of the Boston Courant.

The Neighborhood Association of the Back Bay (NABB) is sponsoring a Forum Discussion on Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Commonwealth Salon at the Boston Public Library.  The Forum will feature the two candidates in the District 2 City Councilor Election on November 5th.

William Linehan, the six-year incumbent, is being challenged by Suzanne Lee, whom he defeated by fewer than 100 votes in 2011. This promised close contest is of particular interest since, for the first time in 20 years, the City Council will be working with a new Mayor.

David Jacobs, the charismatic and knowledgeable Editor/Publisher of the Boston Courant will moderate the discussion.  This event is an early chance to see and hear the candidates debate in an intimate setting.
